Youth Initiative
The Franklin County Suicide Prevention Coalition (FCSPC) launched its Youth Initiative in response to the rising youth suicide rate in Franklin County. In our Youth Initiative, we engage youth and supportive adults together to decrease youth suicide in our community. We focus on increasing connectedness, empowering youth to promote healthy peer norms, and facilitating the growth of a larger network of supportive, informed adults in youths’ lives.
We offer free QPR (Question, Persuade, and Refer) trainings to all youth-serving adults in Franklin County, in addition to access to the rest of our Speaker’s Bureau.
