Signs of Suicide® Prevention Program

A nationally recognized suicide prevention program offered by the Center for Suicide Prevention and Research (CSPR) at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. SOS is offered at no cost for most schools in central and southeastern Ohio, depending on county.

Mental Health First Aid

A public education program that introduces participants to risk factors and warning signs of mental illnesses, builds understanding of their impact, and overviews common supports. This 8-hour course uses role-playing and simulations to demonstrate how to offer initial help in a mental health crisis and connect persons to the appropriate care. The program is facilitated by Mental Health America of Ohio.

Training on Supporting Survivors of a Suicide Loss

A one-hour overview covering suicide loss, do’s & don’ts, and practical ways to support a loss survivor. This is presented by a suicide loss survivor with LOSS Community Services. Contact team@losscs.org for more information.

SurvivorVoices: Sharing the Story of Suicide Loss
