Together Strong is for veterans and service members interested in learning additional skills to support friends who struggle with re-adjusting to civilian life. Made available by the VA’s New York/New Jersey Healthcare Network and Kognito.

Access to more than 250 military culture educational products for healthcare providers, Veterans, employers, military family members, and more.
Behavioral Health Professionals
The Suicide Prevention Resource Center offers an online Counseling on Access to Lethal Means training for behavioral health professionals and others who work with people at risk for suicide. The training can be completed in two hours and focuses on working with individuals and their families to reduce access to lethal means.
Emergency Department Personnel
The Suicide Prevention Resource Center offers a two-hour Preventing Suicide in Emergency Room Department Patients online course for healthcare professionals who work in emergency departments with patients at risk for suicide.
Food Service Employees
The Giving Kitchen has partnered with the QPR Institute to offer online evidence-based suicide prevention training to all restaurants in the United States. This Question, Persuade & Refer training can be completed within one hour.
Lethal Means Safety Education and Counseling for Providers
Lethal Means Safety Education and Counseling for Providers is a FREE, online, self-paced course for healthcare providers serving Veterans in their community.
Prevention Specialists
The Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation offers an archive of their suicide prevention webinars which include topics such as effective prevention messaging, advocacy, and postvention in schools.
